adhoc is built for small circles of real friends, and the product is designed so strangers can’t reach you.

Private by design

adhoc has no browsable directory, public feed, or recommendations. Someone can find your basic profile (username, display name, avatar color) through an invitation or by searching your username — full or partial. Your bio, social handles, photo, availability, and calling details remain hidden until you accept them as a friend.
Your number isn’t shown on your profile or friend list. When you’re free and one friend claims the window, that friend receives the calling details needed to place the call. Their phone or calling app may retain those details in call history.
Only friends you’ve added can see when you’re free.

Block anyone from their profile — they won’t see your availability and can’t contact you through adhoc.
Report behavior that makes you uncomfortable from the same menu. We review every report.
Remove a friend at any time; they aren’t notified.
